pets
i was inspired by this dude (or dudette?) from peyups who wrote a very kewl article about his pets. so i decided to make my own version of it hehe.
pets
honestly, i have a soft spot in my heart for cats and kittens. ewan ko ba, pag nagbibike nga ako sa streets d2 smin tpos may nakita akong pusa, mag mmeow na lang ako or hahagisan ko sila ng masarap na tortillos. wird. pero pag nakakakita sila ng ibang cat nagaaway sila. hindi dpat ganun. we should be united (oust gma? nge)

15 years ago, lumipat kami ng bahay from moonwalk, paranaque papunta d2 sa cavite. i was 3 or 4 yrs old then so hindi pa ko conscious sa mga nangyyri sa paligid ko. hmm, ang naaalala ko lang ay mayroon nng dalawang pusa sa bahay namin nun. isang black and white saka isang black, white and yellow. my yaya named the black-yellow-white-colored cat "mimay", and the other one, i can't remember. lalaki yata ung black and white na cat at maaga siyang kinuha ni Lord (may it Rest in Peace) dahil nabagsakan sya ng hagdanan nung kinoconstruct pa lang ung bahay namin. labas yata laman loob nya nun hehe, kewl.
4 yrs old pa lang yata ako nng ituri kong "pet" ang stray cat na si "mimay". hindi ko lam kung bat ako nahumaling sa knya, cguro dahil nakakatuwa sya. lakad lang ng lakad tas meow pa ng meow pa. ang galing. malambing talaga si "mimay" at lagi syang pumupulupot sa aking paa. matagal tagal din ang pinagsamahan namin ni "mimay" at ilang lalaking pusa na din ang nahumaling sa halindog ng hubad nyang katawan. madami na din syang iniluwal na kittens na talaga namang nakapagpasaya sakin. (syempre iba iba ung ama nun) in fact, everytime na buntis at nanganak na si "mimay", ginagawan ko pa sila ng space na may basahan sa backyard namin para naman malambot ung hihigaan nila ng mga supling nya. tuwang tuwa ako sa mga cute na kittens pero after 1 month yata pinapatapon na sila ni mama grrr, nilalagay na sila sa sako at nililigaw sa bukirin. wawa naman. pinapakain ko naman ng sapat si "mimay" pero mhirap sya busugin kaya minsan ay tinangka nyang kainin ang mga alagang hamster ni joel, pero hindi sya nagtagumpay. malas. halos 6 yrs kami nagkasama ni "mimay" sa hirap at saya. mahal na mahal ko sya at mahal nya din ako. (o mahal nya ung pagkaing pinapakain ko sa kanya gabi gabi?) tandang-tanda ko pa, grade 4 ako ng kunin ni Lord si mimay. bumili kasi ako sa sari-sari store ng Real Corn Chips nun (mayo cheese flavor) at nng makita ko si "Mimay" ay nakabulagta na sya sa damuhan at matigas na ang muscles nya. kala ko nag pplay dead lang sya, pero hindi pla ginagawa ng pusa ang trick na un. ampf (may It rest In peacE)

3rd year highschool ako ng maligaw sa bahay namin ang isang yellow and white cat. actually, hindi sya naligaw. nakatambay sya lagi dun sa tindahan na malapit samin. napansin kong palakaibigan sya and i took advantage of that. inakit ko sya sa pamamagitan ng tortillos papunta sa bahay namin at presto! may instant pet nanamn ako hehehe. masasabi kong mas lalo syang naging malusog buhat ng sya ay manirahan samin dahil sya ay pinapakain ko ng wasto at nilalaro ng walis tingting. lagi nya kong sinasalubong pag galing ako sa skul (cguro naghahanap ng pagkain). naisip ko na sya na ang ipinadala ng Maykapal bilang kapalit ni "mimay" (may it rest in peace) pero di naglaon ay kinain sya ng isang bayawak? at kinaha na ni lord (may it rest in peace)

sa kasalukuyan ay wala akong inaalagaang kahit ano. kawawa naman ako. gs2 ko sanang magkaron ng pet kso wala na kong maakit na pusa sa labas ng aking crib. ayoko naman bumili ng mga high maintenance na pet sa bioresearch dahil 1) impractical, 2) magastos. kung may cash man ako, i would rather buy something which i can use. (or eat)

pets are good substitutes for human companionship. pdeng kung wala kang kalaro, kalaruin mo sila or if wala kang kausap, kausapin mo sila. pero wag kang magexpect na ssgot sila ng matino. kung gs2 mo ng sumasagot na parang tao, then get a parrot pero kahit anong sbhin mo dun, puro "panget! panget!" lang ang isasagot sayo nun, baka sapakin mo pa sya tsktsk. nakakatuwang isipin na mahal na mahal ka ng pet mo dahil sinusustentuhan mo sila ng pagkain, inumin, boarding and lodging at electricity. pero kahit na gastos ka ng gastos sa kanila, at wala naman silang naibibigay sayo kundi perwisyo (e.g. pagkakalat ng dumi kung saan saan) at dusa (sirang mga gamit atbp) ay hindi padin natin sila dapat saktan dahil sila ay gawa ni God hehe. kahit mga ipis dapat hindi natin pinapatay kasi mabuti sila. pag dumapo sila satin, hayaan lang natin, gwa naman sila ni God eh.

1BES2
just yesterday, available na ung grades namin online and im glad 2 say na may grades were good enough.. better that i expected.
napostpone ung enrollment namin dhil sa failure sa electricity na naganap sa ibat ibang bahagi ng manila so my classmates and i decided to hang out sa gateway at magarcade na lang hehe. dahil dun ay hindi ako nakaattend sa rehersals namin sa chorale at syempre, nag fine ako ng 50 bucks. grr
knina naman, may rehersals kami ng 10am at nalate ako ng gcng (930) so obviously, late na din ako dumating dun (11) and to my dismay, hanggang 11 lang ung rehersals. nagbayad pa ko ng 69 bucks dhil late ako ng 1hr 9mins. kamusta naman ang allowance ko. sinama kami ng conductor namin sa isang chinese skul pra manood ng regional chorale competition. ang gagaling ng mga sumali at nanalo ang university of asia and the pacific over 9 skuls. syempre hindi naman talo ang ust liturgikon because they placed 3rd. hmm not bad
ang ganda pla ng bagong album ng u-turn. just soulful, laid-back music. nothin more. kewl
1bes2 na nga pla ako, nalipat na ko sa kabilang section. :(

all that jazz
i so love jazz.
chic, very sophisticated, and so sexy.
the sound of its solo saxophone, slow and soulful, is like an impetus that invigorates the mind into trance.
its quite rare to find a jazz singer especially now that the music scene is governed by head-banging alternative tunes.
but through mishka adam's emotional vocal prowess, jazz has been brought up again to another level. laid-back songs from her debut album God bless the child include the carrier single God bless the child, summertime and a remake of harold arlen's somewhere over the rainbow.

i've learned that PHILOSOPHY is the best subject in this world if, and only if, it is taught by the super duper hyper best Philosophy prof in the entire universe, Dr. Co :D
i've also realized that HISTORY is really bullshit forever and ever, so be it.
LITERATURE is not a boring subject especially when your professor is the highest paid and the biggest teacher in AB.
ENGLISH is fun if your prof attends your class only 1 out of 3 times in a week.
BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE is NOT entirely PSYCHOLOGY. It is a mix of sociology, management and psychology.
THEOLOGY does not require tremendous memory work anymore like the highschool RELIGION subject. Your grades will be based on your ability to articulate your ideas and your reason cogently.
ECONOMICS is boring, really boring, really, really boring.
SOCIOLOGY is fun if your professor is like a shitty gay stand-up comedian who really knows nothing about the subject matter and only blabbers jokes and more jokes but still gives the whole class super hard exams and loads of extra, unnecessary paper works.
you have to treasure TRUE FRIENDS for they come only once in a blue moon.
it is hard to fall in LOVE with a CLASSMATE, especially when you are not sure that what you are feeling is really LOVE.
COLLEGE is a lot more fun that HIGHSCHOOL (in my experience)

finals ko na history bukas and i need to pass my final exam (kahit 75% lang). i made me self a reviewer at 819 items ung nagawa ko. nandun na lahat ng nsa notes nmen pero hindi pa kasali dun ung mga dapat basahin sa libro (400+ pages?) para sa essay part ng test at ung mga tinanong nya sa graded recitation (cguro mga 100 items). kelangan kong paganahin ang isa kong brain cell pra masaya. grrr

These photos were taken in Alabama as the destructive Katrina was said to be "coming in". The ironic thing about it was that the destructive phenomena looked so marvelously beautiful despite the fact that it brought so much chaos to the lives of the residents in that place. It looked like a scene in some Sci-Fi movie to me. But the people who saw and experienced that catastrophe would never want to and would always dread to see it again.

for some unknown reason, hindi ako nakatulog sa bus kanina mula sa lawton hanggang sa probinsya ng Cavite. it's quite unusual kasi halos palagi akong nakakatulog sa bus kung pauwi na ko sa bahay ko. wala kasi akong kausap sa doon at headset lang ang nakakabit sa tenga ko hangang mahimbing ako sa upuan.
kasabay ng pagbagtas ng sinasakyan kong bus sa mga matrapik at maingay ng kalsada ng taft, sa mga makukulay at binagong ilaw ng baywalk at sa makalat na banketa ng baclaran ay ang pagpatak ng mahinang ulan. i don't know, but i really love it when it rains and the sound of the pattering raindrops makes me feel so unexplainably emotional. sabayan mo pa ng kantang lately ni stevie wonder, kamusta naman?
parang pinamukha sakin ng ulan kung gano ako ka manhid at kung gano ako katanga..
kahit kailan, hindi ko ginustong makasakit ng damdamin ng iba dahil alam ko ang pakiramdam ng nasasaktan.. pero anong magagawa ko? ayoko namang pilitin ang sarili kong gawin ang isang bagay na alam kong hindi gusto ng puso ko..

mixed-up friday, prang ceasar salad
so that was it. the rumors that had been circulating around the AB-BES freshman circle were already confirmed by our history professor (Dr. DALANGIN) yesterday (friday). the re-shuffling event between the 2 freshman BES sections (1bes1 and 1bes2) would immediately take effect by the start of next semester, so most probably, hindi na kami kami ng mga kklase ko ang magkakasama next sem. mayroon daw madadagdag samin from the other block (1bes2), and obviously, meron ding matatangal.
i have mixed sentiments regarding that matter. at first, i wasn't really very much concerned about it because gs2 ko ring makilala ung mga taga kabilang section despite the fact na mukha silang mga walang kokote (piz bwahahaha) at inaaway nila ang section namin. and primarily, sila naman talaga ung nag susuggest ng reshuffling na yan dahil hindi sila masaya sa section nila, kanya-kanya kumbaga. saka ko lang na realize na medyo masaklap pala kung mangyayari man yun dahil may posibilidad na hindi na kami maging magkkklase ng mga gago kong frends. pano na? grrr
i was supposed to attend my last PE class for this sem yesterday but opted not to. lolx inimpluwensyahan naman kasi ako ng mga gago kong frends na wag na umatend dun at maglaro na lang sa tambayan namen. sbagay, optional na lang naman ung pag attend dun dahil naglaro na ko nung wednesday hehe. ayos naman.
ang hinihintay ko lang naman talaga kahapon ay ang "Kabog Season 2" lolx. yun ay isang Solo singing competition sponsored by the ab chorale at ang mananalo dun ang magrerepresent sa ab for the intercollegiate songfest sa december. may mga bigating guests din dun 2lad ng ust's very own 'join the club' at 'sugarfree' kaya pumunta ako lolx. nagkasakitan na ng malupit ng lumabas ang sugarfree at talaga naman napakahusay nila. sila ay akin nng iniidolo. 1130 na ko nakauwi at masakit na talaga ang katawan ko dala na rin ang sobrang pagod sa pagtalon doon at paglalaro namin nung hapon.
yesterday was really a happy day for me, but just the thought na 2 weeks na lang ay sembreak na makes me really sad lolx. aking dinaDALANGIN na sana next sem, magkakasama pa din kami ng mga kaibigan ko. hmm
