Last August 6, 2006, I published a web log post entitled "Grrr" in my online journal, "I Blog, therefore I am"1. Attached herewith in this letter is the exact weblog post published at the said date.

Mr. Antonino Tobias IV demands a public apology from the author of the said online journal because of the content of the post "Grrr" which he claims has damaged or affected his reputation and credibility as an instructor of this university to some extent. In this regard, as the author of the said online journal, I humble myself as I write this public apology letter addressed to Mr. Antonino Tobias IV to make amends for whatever damage or defamation I may have caused him, in his belief. I admit my shortcoming in this particular circumstance and I would like to confess that I have been unconsciously irresponsible for publishing a public web log post without considering the harm it may bring to the professor mentioned.

However, as the author of the said online journal, I would like to clear out that I have nothing personal against the said professor. With all due respect, everything that was written in the said post are just spur of the moment assertions and are merely opinions which are purely subjective in nature. I wrote that post with conviction driven by the exact emotion I was feeling that time. My online journal is an extension of myself- an outlet of my wildest emotions; a listener to my endless rants and my controversial opinions; but most importantly, a part of myself which I perpetually write for almost three years now. But it was never in my intention in any of my single posts to defame or to destroy the reputation of Mr. Tobias. It just so happened that the thoughts and opinions I posted there offended him in some way, and for this reason, I would like to extend my public apology not only to him, but to the general public who had read the said post.

I believe that each and every one of us is entitled to our own opinions. However, this right comes with a greater responsibility- that we should all be held accountable for whatever we write, whether public or not. I would be more than willing to delete the mentioned post, if that will serve him the justice he deserves so as to end this matter with proper legality. And rest assured that any untoward circumstance such as this will not happen again.

Mr. Antonino Tobias IV, my RC professor, is requiring us to submit a 5-page movie comparison of Bayaning Third World and Jose Rizal. Fuck naman, wala nga sya nung nanood kami nitong mga movies na to eh. And I don't see the logic behind setting up a certain minimum number of pages for our paper. Dati nga 10-pages pa yung nirerequire nya eh, kundi lang nagmakaawa yung iba kung classmates. Pano kung kaya ko namang gumawa ng concise yet detailed na movie criticism? (kunwari 2 pages) Hindi ba pwedeng ganun na lang. Ang hirap naman kasi sa kanya, wala na nga siyang tinuturong maganda, andami pa nyang pinapagawa samin. hindi nya siguro alam yung process approach to writing lolx

yan, magsusulat muna ako ulit hehe. meron pa kong 10 minutes para tapusin tong paper na to. nasa page 3 na ko, goodluck :)
