2005: Year of the Rooster: What's there to crow about?
I was about to go out to buy myself some junk foods when I saw the day's newspaper on the table outside. I'm really not into reading but I thought it would be good for me to do so, so I grabbed the paper anyway.
News articles are really boring, not intruiging and non-sense for me... not even sports news or showbiz news seem to catch my attention. As I amused myself just by looking at the pictures, I came across an article about Chinese Predictions.. dunno what it was called but it was about the "Year of the pig.. year of the rat.. yadda yadda yadda thing" (Why am I hooked to stupid Chinese Predictions? hmmm.. maybe it's because I'm 1/8 Chinese?). It was only then that I learned that 2005 falls on the Year of the Rooster. Err.. Who the hell cares about it? I was born on the Year of the Dragon, so I only read my year's portion.

Can the prophecy be true? The article said that this year, my self-confidence would impress superiors and colleagues. This year, I would have a better career. It was also said that I will have a new partner in romance! Hahaha.. who knows? Maybe that would come true.
For some, predictions like these are stupid and useless. I thought it was, too. But to know that I won't be single anymore this year, that's another issue! =D
